Christmas Reading

This is just a quick post to ask: What are you reading this Christmas season? I would love to hear what Christmas (or just everyday!) books you are enjoying right now, so please leave a comment!
I’ve been enjoying some wonderful books lately! I just re-read a delightful collection of Noel Streatfeild’s Christmas writings called Christmas with the Chrystals. It contains short memoir pieces sprinkled between holiday excerpts from Noel’s books. (The Christmas chapter in Theater Shoes is excerpted here, and it’s so fun.)
The first story included in the volume is a short story (the titular “Christmas with the Chrystals”) that is unrelated to any of her novels, and I think it absolutely should have been turned into a full-length book.
I’m also hoping to re-read The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas by Madeleine L’Engle, but I just received an early Christmas gift of Ginnie Joins In by Catherine Woolley, so I’ll be reading that too. 🙂
Merry Christmas!

Our family is currently reading Bartholomew’s Passage and All Creation Waits for Christmas/Advent.
My winter break reading always used to be ALL of the Anne of Green Gables books; never had many Christmas titles. This year, I need to get my act together and get back to work. Heading into April 2025 titles, starting with the sequel to Alyson Gerber’s LIARS’ CLUB. Have a happy holiday!
I love Christmas with the Chrystals, and also Noel Streatfeild’s Christmas Stories. I also reread Christmas With Anne (of Green Gables) collection of short stories, and Louisa May Alcott’s Christmas Treasury.
I just read Louisa May Alcott’s ‘A Quiet Little Woman’ Christmas short story collection!
I’m reading that to my daughter now.
